'Hot' Mode on TS7 same as TS9DX?

As above, I'm curious to know if they are similar to each other, just like both their 'TS9' modes are somewhat like the other.

To me the 'Hot' mode on the TS7 is heavier than that of the TS9DX

the reson why i like my TS7 the most, is simply because of the HOT mode 8)

this adds to intensity where the TS9DX's hotter modes has added bass in the mix but no marked increase in drive.

I just did a *clean* mod on a grey ts and soon on another green ts .
The *clean* mod is more for driving tube amps without excessive mid hump and giving higher dirt threshold ! Which means less dirt more cleans... for driven tube amps !

Peavey XXX 1 x 12 combo and a smarvo 410R 2 x 10 combo. But i wont use the modded TS7 to my smarvo, think will sound sucky....
