Honestly, how do you find Ronin's debut album?

I listened to four of their songs posted on their myspace account. They got catchy riffs and nice classic rock solos but I also feel that they sound abit unoriginal. What do you think? :)
 
you know ,they still have a long way to go.....
and i believe they can do better.
but for the first piece of work,they've already done a good job,right? :D
 
How original and groundbreaking can a rock n' roll group be in the first place? :wink: It's a formula that works though.
 
it's like ACDC, same albums that sound all the same. or even Led Zep's first 3 or Motley Crue first 4. Same but works for generations ("talkin' bout my generation!"). But I think for a first effort ronin's done good in the rock department. i like Mojo and Take It Off because its rather distinct. we can only write them off as unoriginal when they release their second album and it sounds exactly like the first.

I shall start posting more! I kindal ike this!

i heard they're coming to my school to perform for the sec 3s and 4s only.

when i buy their cd, i'll have to secure a good hiding place from my mom.

the woman's nah nah pok lor...dun destroy your album lah, its damn good man. In my most honest and sincere opinion, its the first band that managed to reproduce the GnR sound. I know ppl say its unoriginal for one song-crazy son, cos the intro sounds like don't cry by GnR, but other than that, i must say its all original. And i dun go so darn crazy about their music just because they are local...none of their members know me personally..its just that its the epitome of my idea of suuuper nice music(think GnR)...haha...until today, i still not sick of GnR!! :oops:
