Hi-Hat boom Arm.

hey bros,

Does anyone know where i might be able to find a hi-hat boom arm that allows the cymbals to be fully opened?
The current hi-hat boom arm i have is from pearl and it can only open the hats to a very small extent. because of the threaded hi-hat rod.
I'm looking for something that is modelled like a hi-hat stand, that has a clutch instead of a threaded rod. thanks.

I think you should try the DW model, it works using the clutch method. I'm using it now, its pretty sturdy.

Gibraltar has one which works with a clutch.
