Help with earphones!

Hey guys! I need some help. I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, please move or delete if appropriate as I don't know where to post this. I have a pair of Sennheiser In-Ear earphones, you know those with those detachable rubber thingies that surrounds the speaker itself, (not the type of material that's like mic windshields, like really rubber), and goes all the way in? Yeap, I hope you know it, well, my rubber thingies (please don't take this the wrong way, I don't know what to call it) fell off, and I sorta lost it. Does anyone know where I can get those rubber covers? Thanks alot!

Joe

that sucks for you. Those thingies are to keep noise out. Nope they are not supposed to be "in" your ear. Just put them at your ear that's all.

Im not too sure but first you might want to try ask your friends if they have similar earphones, as some companies make earphones with 3 sets of rubber thingies of different sizes. If not, maybe try Challenger Funan...

Haha thanks for the help Vidak. I'll go to a nearby Challenger outlet to find. Thanks again. And what sucks is that only the small ones fit me. :(

Joe

You might wanna pop by Jaben. They do sell the buds if I'm not wrong. Many varieties to choose from, but also depends on fitting.

Hey Joe (where you goin with that gun in your hand...)

ok ok couldnt resist the hendrix reference.

anyways, the rubber thingy is commonly called the "tip". not to fret, i reckon Jaben might carry spare tips for your senn. I also do know that SOME senn earphones can use 3rd party tips, and jaben may carry those tips. Check em out, here's the website: jaben.net

and whilst you're there, why not check out some of their higher end in-ear earphones... you'll be amazed at what you're missing. be careful though, you might end up parting with more money than you expect... keke.

simlim have i think level 3. its a not very decorated shop with lots of trolley-tables like at those department stores. sells lotsa those "tips" think its like $2 per set of 3. I THINK.

if not, any electrical big2 shops have. best denki etc

HMV do sell tips for noise isolation earphones (i saw some for Audio Technica before, but not sure about Senns).

yup, be careful when you go to Jaben, dont get poisoned so easily (like i was, i parted much much more than i had intended to, poor but happy though haha).

OT: im wondering if Shure Olives fit for ER-6. does anyone know?

I ditched my Bose earphones for the Bijou 2 and a headphone amp at Jaben. :D My original plan was to just go up and "take a look" but i left the shop with a really light wallet.

ahh well, once you are poisoned, the only antidote has to be bought isnt it.

hehe.

once you realise how good your new acquisition sounds, anything else that you tried before will start to sound inferior. its a vicious process.

No to Jaben

my two cents worth

i would rather you not go to jaben straight...

instead please go and survey all the prices...

recently i went to jaben and was nearly ripped off by a lot of money..

ya better to do research first. another place that sells good earphones is Stereo (i think) in causeway point. you cant miss it, its on the 3rd floor, right in front of the escalator.

JaBen confirm sells the things. I bought them before for Westone earphones. Get the foam ones. They're better fit. Cost me $6 per pair
