keep on working... work on pronunciation of words and sing with more feeling....

Backing as in background music. To accompany your vocals. You can either use softwares to eliminate the vocals from songs you want to sing on, or you can use some music programming software to make your own. If your are serious about this that is, try getting a good mic.
