Help: Needed questions i'm very new to guitar.

Gosh You guys really makes me wants to get my first guitar very soon.
(=
Anyway you guys thinks Penisular is a good place to buy a Acoustic Guitar for a beginner?
My budget about 200 and below?
What brand should i buy i'm still not sure with it.
Because none of my friends played guitar so i can't ask them to try or test it for me somemore i didn't played a guitar before i'm just a newbie
so i can't tell for that 'feel'

As people keep saying buying a guitar its entirely up to your 'feel'
So i'm still not sure.
I Needs Help!!

haha, your lucky in this day of age its so easy to learn guitar. back then one had to learn on his own. there were no such thing as internet lessons. everyone was learning on their own and most were very selfish to teach.

haha.

dont panic, the last thing you want to do is panic. People tends to make the wrong decision when they are panicking. And why rush? take your time. learn more of the product, search the net for acoustic guitars. find the ones you like and go down to the local distributors to test them out. Do make sure to test a couple of guitars to your liking. Do not just try one, be happy and buy it instantly. Take your time, you have all the time in the world (unless you die crossing the road at Penisular but thats highly unlikely). Remember its never about the brand, its about the quality. the tone is produces. whether your comfortable with the guitar. These are all the factor that oyu must look out for. Try not to get something to expensive as your just starting out. who knows its just a passing 'sickness' and your going to stop playing soon?

mathew brudder

for $200 budget, there are some good guitars you can have and if you budget carefully, you could get some spare change for a good book and some other stuffs.

take a look around the guitar hub around Penin area

Anyway after i brought my guitar is it a must for me to buy picks
And what's picks use for?
Are there any different if you're using your fingernail to playing the guitar and you're using picks to play?

What they said. Picks are sharper, fingers are warm. Try it out when you're trying your guitar at a store. I don't use fingernails to play, they give a weird sound... unless I"m strumming.

Or learn hybrid picking lol.

An electronic tuner is an option. Or you can attempt to use your ears or online tuners.

Amplifier/s and cable/s are an obvious must for electric guitars. You can invest in effects and pedals when you've gotten better and feel unsatisfied with what you have now.

As for acoustics, basically you just need a guitar and your hands, with fingers attached.

yeah, i dont see the point of excessive 'shopping'
just get yourself a chord book. and your set to go.
dont jump the basics.
most nowadays just skip basics coz they want to look cool playing the blazing solos and riffs.

just pick a simple song to learn (but do make sure you know what your playing)
learn about 'family chords'(a guidebook for newbies should help)
Itll help you alot in the phuture!

did i say phuture? i meant future!
