Help me out, what pickups should i use?

Hi, i use a fender jaguar bass. It has two single coil pickups and i really wanna maximise the sound and use it to its full potential. I like the fact that it sounds punchy. Any suggestions for pickups?

before you start thinking about what pickups to get, specifically what is it that you don't like about/feel your current pickups lack?

To me my tone sounds a lil flat, and if possible i really want it to sound more punchy and also be more versatile.

fender jag pickups are already quite punchy, I dont think replacing the pickups will give best results. try playing around with eq? or try getting a fender jazz bass short scale basses usually lack the fullness and bite of the a normal scale bass has. this is just imo.

You can try boosting the low-mids on your amp and see if that works out.
