HELP! Annoying hum! :(

Hi all,

I have a Yamaha FG330 acoustic guitar installed with B-band pickup. I use this guitar mainly for church purposes. I plug the guitar through a DI directly into the PA system. Apparently there's an unbearable low hum, even at low volumes! I tried to send it to luther and maestro guitar clinic to see if it's the grounding issue of the guitar, but those guys tested it by plugging it into an acoustic amp and oh great, there's no hum at all. They said it's probably my church PA system's grounding issue. But the thing is all my other acoustic guitarists plug in their acoustic guitar into the church PA and there's no such hum coming from their guitars at all. I'm seriously confused. Any idea guys? Did you use the same cable when testing it at the workshop? I had an experience where a cable that I used was almost like a microphone. Hum ceased when I used a better quality cable.
