Help: 1 Computer Triggering 10 USB Keyboards

Hi,

I have this situation where I would like to connect 10 similar usb synth devices to one computer. Basically I would like use midi to trigger the sounds back to the 10 synths and playback the audio in the keyboard modules simultaneously (the PROBLEM is that these 'synths' don't have MIDI I/O, yes i know tt sucks).

Question is

1) Can the computer support 10 usb synth devices at the same time (same model and make)?

2) If yes, how would they appear in say maybe a DAW when i send back the midi signal?

How do you plan to control a synth without MIDI support, electronically?

mandric, have you managed to get this working? What exactly are you trying to do with this setup? Music lab?
