Hi fellow softies, not sure where to post this, sorry if this is the wrong place.

I'm looking for a headphone for my amp, i'm using a Vox amPlug AC30, so a headphone is somewhat a huge factor of sound quality.
Here's what i'm looking for in the headphone:

1. I need open headphones, i have no idea to choose supra-aural or circumaural. What i can tell you is my ears are quite big. I need sound quality and comfort, those "forgetting that you're wearing them" type of comfort.
2. My budget is S$70 Max
3. Never own any headphones before. But would like to have one that is very comfortable and sounds good when i'm practicing with my guitar.
4. The real sound of the guitar doesn't have much difference with the headphone or no difference at all. In short, good quality. Example, you plug into a solid state amp and play some distortion, when you plug into your headphone, it sounds totally different from what you heard from the solid state amp.
5. I listen to Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Insturmental etc.

I hope fellow softies can give me a few suggestions. Thanks =)

Headphones eh?Check out Jaben http://www.jaben.net/ Great service there and many headphones are available there too!I bought an audio technica one there,it was below $45.You should go there and check the headphones, they have lots of them.

Yup, i know Jaben is a good place to look for. But before that, would like to get a few recommends first.

i'm using a vox amplug ac30 on my sennheiser H250 and its all good.

Nice, thanks for the suggestion, will check it out. Does it sound different when you plug it into an amp? How much is it?
One more questions, How to plug your ipod/mp3 to the Vox amPlug so you can play along? What cable or adapter do i need?

You will need something like this cable. Then plug one end to the amPlug and one to the MP3 :)

I just have to say though, as a personal point of view, the amPlug provides more convenience than great sound. I don't think it's worth spending more than you paid for the amPlug on those headphones you intend to buy. Unless of course you intend to use it for other stuff. In which case, your specifications, open-type in particular, don't exactly come cheap.

Good luck. Let us know how it works out. :)

I agree on the "spending more than you paid", but i do like convenience :D
If i'm not getting the amPlug, i think i'll be getting a Vox Pathfinder 15R instead, it has some good reviews.
Now i got the idea of what cable to use, where can i get those cable?

Anyone here own a Audio Technica ATH-AD300? Ask a few ppl on other forums and they all gave good reviews to this headphone.
