Have to hand it to Luther, once again

I just spent close to an hour pestering him in his shop about a Wireless system, and he patiently explained everything about it, let me try different ones, told me pros + cons, and was generally friendly all around. So I bought a wireless sytem from him instead of Swee Lee - speaking of which, I went into Swee Lee the other day to look at a Drum Machine, and they guy got it down for me and said "you better take the manual also if your gonna try it, cuase we have no idea how to use that thing"

Bought a Audio Technica 600 series UHF wireless system, with a free lapelle mic and 10 channels for 380. I can go down into my garden and it still picks up :D

The thing about service at Swee Lee is that it is unconsistent. If he had a good lunch, you get great service, if the dude had a bad lunch, watch out...Luther is ALWAYS good.

Agree with Warlord, Sweelee service is Jekyll and Hyde.

As for Luther, I have a story to share too:
I went to buy a microphone about some time back. And I noe nuts about mics, and one of their staff patienly explained everything clearly to me. Not only that he also access my needs and budget, and offer the best mic that suits my needs and budget. The whole thing took more than an hour, and he never got impatient at all. The thing about Luther is that they talk to u as musicians not as a salesman. One up for Luther!

Guitar Workshop used to have a few young dudes who were very helpful too. Went there recently but unfortunately, they are no longer working there. Not too sure about the present dude there now..
