So I came back from lesson at Shredcow's place...and it was great! He's a passionate teacher who really knows his stuff, and he does a great job of explaining theories or just imparting his awesome technique, esp at sweeping. He also writes tabs upon request wor. What's more, he frequently stretches beyond the allocated time.

hahaha.... Vaiyen!!! I am NOT a Sweep King!!!! Like what I told you guys during the SOFT meeting... I always thought I can't do those complicated sweep that techincal players do, so I just came up with some of my own sweeps... and besides, it makes life more interesting than the standard (but overdone) sweeps that are so common...

that's the beauty of it! you sweep those weird and unorthodox arpeggios so flawlessly! I personally wouldn't bat an eyelid if I saw someone blaze through run-of-the-mill neoclassical sweeps..
