I bought one and was so looking forward for the lessons on the cd and songs . . . When I insert in the cd, it only had 1 video? Is this normal or did i get a bad cd or something?

When i insert the cd, it pops outone programme where I get one option "Videos". Tried browsing under the directory of my cd drive, obviously no audio files ;-( Sg doesnt allow the cd in? hmm...

The Guitar Techniques CD is a "Mixed-Mode" CD, meaning it contains both CD-ROM data and Audio CD tracks. It is entirely normal in this situation for Windows file-browser windows such as Windows Explorer and My Computer to only show the CD-ROM data section of the disc.

To get to the audio tracks do the following:

1. Open Windows Media Player
2. Click the small arrow next to the "Now Playing" button at the upper-left of the Windows Media Player window
3. In the menu that pops-up, select the CD-drive that contains the Guitar Techniques CD
4. Windows Media Player will now be ready to play the audio tracks on the CD


Lucky i found it, or i lost 97.68% of the reason to spend 18.50 on this thing =)

haah good for you. i use itunes so i have no problems locating the audio files.

its sold out pretty fast.

Theres not much flashy ads or interviews.

If having the disipline to sit thru the lessons and play by yourself. Theres lotsa stuff to get from the mag.

To learn and learn, guitar tech is good. To drool at your idols, stare at gear or read interview bout favourite guitarers, then guitar tech sucks :lol:
