Guitar store - pedal mods at Woodlands Center.

just collected my DS-1 from that guy,mike...
and the sound/tone/dist...ouchh!!!AWESOME MAN!!
recomended to all!

where do u get soldering irons from, and how much do they usually cost? cause ive always been wanting to solder stuff.

Don't bother with that unless you are willing to drill/route your guitar.

The Tremol-no requires no modification.

Mjollnir

Home-Fix has them for around 13 bucks. Get a 25-30W iron and some solder and a soldering stand while you're at it.

yea.. soldering's fun.. haha.. might i interest u guys in a diy byoc overdrive kit?

but anyway for boss mods.. monte's ones are the best around

Waved goodbye to my 1 day salary :smt051 to buy the mod DS-1 'Live Turbo' from Mike...got it up and running at the club yesterday. Used as a standalone or as a booster together with my Zoom G7 multi efx thru Fender Twin Rvb and my dodgy-warped Jem Jr and it sounded S W E E T...:smt061
From Pablo to Paulo : Thnx bro for the tip-off :prayer: ...and cheers to Mike :smt038

how is this ds1 mod different from other ds1 mods..
Not sure abt other ds1 mods...even if you know the different technical modifications, it's best you test and hear it yourself

Love the thrill of searching for your own parts to substitute with the originals! the thrill to see if you have screwed up the soldering or got it right. The thrill of getting it all done up and hearing the sound coming out of it... The thrill of DIY!!!

nice dude. comfort is crucial.

Mike is working on a Blues Driver now. improved clarity and aiming for that classic blues rock push.

yes he is, has his own MIA Strat with pickups changed to YJM and some others. it sounds sweet with the Live Turbo. Latest update on Blues Driver, jus a veeeeeery rough quote. Abt $190 for it, if i heard correct but do tell me if i'm wrong. Cheers to Mike!
