Any recommendations on which shops provide good workmanship, customer service and reasonable pricing for guitar repair jobs,setup or changing of PUPs, tuners etc...etc

From your experience... Pls give me an insight...as i intend to sent my gear for some simple setup,repairs and changing of PUPs and Tuners..

for major guitar rectifications, do refer to Guitar Connection/ Sinamex. forum member Malcolm is a highly qualified luthier (salute: respect) & would be more accessible if you are living in the east.

if you purchase pickups from a certain dealer here, do enquire if they provide installation services- they might just offer you a discounted rate.

of course, if you can spare the time to visit master Beez @ ebenex, present to him your intended rectifications/ mods, he'll diagnose according to his capacity.

most importantly, do not be quick to engage without asking the charges first.

KC from Maestro does a very good job as well.
I've never trusted anyone more with my gear.
His rates are reasonable as well.

For the quality of work and rates, KC is the best man for job.

There are others who are good too and one from a particular bloodline which charges ridiculous rates.

KC will be at Excelsior only on Saturdays. He's at the warehouse/workshop during his working hours.
