is it for sale in SG?

citymusic has it and the the lastest version is the kp3 with lighted grid touch panel. For price and availablity, check with them or google for city music

Theres also a mini kp version.

Both are meant for dj usage and theres only rca in and out, it wont be compatible for guitar usage due to the rca and impedance mismatch issues. You will need to either modify or built something to overcome the 1/4 inch jack to rca input/output and correct the impedance issues.

If just using a rca to 1/4' jack to connect the guitar to the kp and to amp, there will be a huge volume drop and hi frequency cut off. Even with the amp volume push up, the guitar signal will be really really dead.

forget bout digging the hole to put the thing, if really wanna, just get the mini one and velcro on to the guitar, at least thats what i did, other than the making another pedal to mix the kp signal with guitar signal..

I saw Kaoss Pad Entrancer and KP3 at Citymusic long ago....The Kaoss Pad Entrancer Cost 1k if i'm not wrong....and the KP3 cost more than $500...

Btw,I love MUSE....I'm a MUSE fan too!!! MUSE frontman,Matt Bellamy has guitars that has Kaoss Pad on it....He has 2 of them....

Here is his 1st one...Its called Kaoss Manson...He use Manson Guitars...

Here is the 2nd one...Its called M1D1 Manson...

He uses this 2 Kaoss guitars during his gigs....Thats all!!!

You put that thing on a Tele?! Like, Teles are already heavy enough as it is...wouldn't that add on kill your back/shoulder?

nothing is too heavy when one can sit down. And the mini kp is all plastic casing, if not for the 4 AA battery, the thing is actually pretty light. It wont add too much weight to the guitar and tele is not really that heavy, imho.

hmmm, long ago? If not wrong, the first batch of the kp3 only came in earlier this year and theres only a few which got sold out quite fast and after that was another batch with the mini kp round middle of this year also?

I think MJ also did a one-off custom built built in Kaoss pad guitar for Lyle Workman... apparently the team "lost a lot of sanity" whilst trying to build that one.

Haha, don't be mistaken. The Kaoss Pad is actually just an XY control pad. Matthew Bellamy connects that bit to a MIDI pot or something and that controls the kaoss pad which is external. Either ways, all the best for your modding. =D

hey. .im starting a kaoss pad guitar project. . planing to sell 2 guitar bodies with a xy kaoss pad screen cavity cut out. .it will be out after the june holls. .both will be painted mattblack . .n for me. . i'll be completing th kaoss pad guitar n with the kaoss pad by end of september. . buying kaoss pad 2 on ebay cause its discontinued
