Guitar Headphone Amps

Hi Everyone,

I'm kinda new here, would like some advice from you all experienced guitar players please.

I'm heading overseas for 2 years and would like to take my electric guitar with me and am thinking of getting a small headphone amp so I can practise without disturbing anyone. I tried googleing the forum but the links seem dead to me.

Looking on amazon etc, looks like there are some budget headphone amps for like $40? Any idea where I can get them in SG? Also, any recommendations for a 'good' one?

haha i'm not expecting much actually, just can hear, maybe tweak the gain a little can already... on a shoestring budget.

Thanks so much guys!

What he says. But if you're willing to stretch your budget, should invest in a pocket pod. Excellent practise tool

I've used the Danelectro E-Studio and a Joyo copy of the Vox Amplug, both passable for the super low price. The Danelectro actually has built in overdrive (just a gain/clipping switch I suppose) and "vintage echo" which is a short fixed delay, kinda interesting compared to the other headphone amps that basically just have a single volume control. Dropped you a PM too.

Thanks guys! I'd prolly get the pocket pod sometime later, any idea if it's cheaper overseas or online? How about those micro amps like ms2 ? Any good in them? Thanks so much for the help.
