guitar hardcase repair help

question on hardcase repair.

my handle for my hardcase broke. was wondering whether i can get it fixed somewhere and for how much cause if its gonna cost alot i'd rather get a new case. help people!

a well padded softcase would be cheaper and easier to carry around in my opinion. I dont know of any shop that offers this kind of service but there is no harm asking around.

If you can get a replacement handle, very easy - just drill out the old rivets on the old handle, take out the broken handle, and re-attach the new handle with new rivets!

wah...thanks for creating the thread for this...Sorry for hijacking....I m having some problems with my hardcase as well....the numeric lock broke.....any of kind people here know how to fix it??I can drill it back but the problem is that I dunno the opening code.....

where to get a replacement handle? any good padded bags to recommend? i've seen the rdm bags. really nice but pricey..

i just got the RDM spork
really good and solid bag
it serves well as a hardcase or guitar bag
easy to carry + good protection

even though it's expensive, u get what u pay for

shop at bylands

you can try the luggage repair shop at bylands building (middle road).
it is on the first floor.
they repair all kinds of luggage, so your hardcase problem shld not be an issue.
try them and report back here.
