don't think anything could have scratched it, cause it feel flat i think.

hmm what should i do about it? is it very impt to fix it? or should i just bring it for a setup?

where's a good place for these kind of repairs?

i think unsane is right, could be just a crack in the finish. if you are sure its a crack loosen the strings and dont play it till you take it to the shop, otherwise if it is a crack then the tension in the strings will pull on the crack.

perhaps if you adjust your camera's field of depth better it'll be easier for us to see if it's a crack or a scratch.

If you really want to know you could un-bolt the neck and have a better look.

personally it looks like a scratch because the line looks pretty smooth and curvy. :?

why dont you try it the Ibanez way  ?

just dive the trem and see if the crack "moves" as you do that. if it does, something is wrong. if it doesnt, nothing to worry about.

I'm sure I read this somewhere before. forgive me if I'm spouting nonsense :) .

heh, most likely like some said above, finishing crack. Happen to my mim tele, ebmm steve morse. At the same area also.

And the best thing is, theres no way to stop it  As the years go by, it will become longer or peeling off. At least thats what happen on my tele and sm guitar.

unless peeling off and see whats inside to make sure it aint wood crack, if not, just let it be. Or send it to Malcolm for him to take a look just to make sure.
