I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find Gretsch giutars in Singapore - I'm looking at *maybe*getting a Gretsch, but don't know where to find the except possibly Swee Lee... any information would be greatly appreciated

You could try www.orangeguitar.com, its a local dealer who has some Duo Jets in stock. Your other option is Brendon at www.bgwguitars.com, I believe he posted something about Gretsch's sometime back.
