Guys I'm in dying need to know the piano tabs for Gothic Sanctuary by Nightwish. It is impossible to find on the net, so maybe if some of you could give it a shot? It'd be a great song to perform. Thanks,

:roll: Instead of giving attitude, why not help out a little bit? It is after all, why I have posted this thread ... to receive help. I've been trying to find it for about a week now day after day. Either I'm hopeless at search engines or it just hasn't been posted on the internet. If you don't have it, you honestly didn't have to comment. If you know of any shops that could possibly sell Nightwish piano tabs then shoot me with 'em.

I'm gonna keep trying, but not because you told me to.

Alrighty, keeping this up and running. I've been going on several forums and asking other people who are in the same boat as me (all wanting Gothic Sanctuary keyboard tabs), and no one has found any. Surprising, they don't release the keyboard tabs of the most keyboard friendly Nightwish song. Keep me updated if you guys happen to come across one. Tnx =)

Why not transpose it youself? Like maybe refer to guitar/bass tabs then make a piano tab out of it?

can simply Download the midi and then open it with midinotate.
midi shld be easy to find on the net...just search gethesemane.midi

then go http://www.notation.com/ and download midinotate PLAYER...or some body recommend any betetr notation software please...
actually i dun find the scores very useful when u print it out its like some complex classical score..made my eyes bluuuuurrrrrrr 8O ..just get the root notes and key rite and its easier figuring out on yr own...

the notes are not the tricky part, its the timing with yr guitarist....
and some parts require back ground patches too...else it will sound realli sharp and dry..

its not as easy to find keyboard scores as guitar tabs...but it s super easy to find midi....hope this helps in yr search for key scores in future

as a keyboardists it is rather frustrating coz the resources on the net rather not-too-keyboard friendly. but i agree with the rest..

open up midi scores.. ( not really 100% accurate most of the time)
but its a start.. i suck at sight reading! heh so take the main parts..use guitar pro u can slow it all down and figure out ur own lines in between.should suffice

the greates challenge then is the fingergin patterns heh ( esp with solo runs ala DT..sheesh!)

It would be awesome to master Gethsemane. Haha, I got use to calling it that now ... Midi searches only responded to that name. So I'm reporting back, I used the midinote composer software to transpose the music, and it is absolutely perfect! Although now it's just a case of repetitive practice 'til perfection.

The software is really handy though ~ Thoroughly enjoying it. Special thanks to aireydon for all the links =D

with midi composer u can even select only the piano and strings or watever keys and print only just the notes u need, wifout the guitar,drums etc. save paper leh


i CAPS midi player becos its the only free full version am i rite..i worried u might get the midi composer and get some features locked...but appears u have no prob wif it...

i got my midi composer via torrentreactor.net..comes with the er..u noe...cr**k.....aahah am i allowed to disclosed this here...?

no matter midi notate player or midi notate composer..its a keyboardist score dream come true leh.. no more hunting for pdf scores...just hunt for midi....happy gethsamining!!!!!!!!!

most of the time you just need to type in 'free sheet music' into the search engines.
