Good amp recommendation for home use

He want nice clean nice so i tell him amp with nice clean. :D

Peavey amps are good. The transtube series is good. Nice overdrive and nice clean. But not as good as the other higher end brands.

I rather save up more and buy a amp that i'll be satisfied with it for a lifetime. My marshall got me 2 years to save up for it and i'm so in love with it.

Yah I know most people would recommend saving up for that expensive amp.... but the problem now is that I have zero amps.....and I really don't see any reason to pick up that electric guitar over my acoustic now (i just got my first electric) ....I tried plugging my electric into my pc with the guitar fx program and it really sounds lousy, i need an amp.... and I think that amp will nv go out of the bedroom.....so what kind of a budget should I be looking at for an amp that I can play around and not hate it after a few weeks?

If u are desperate, get a 2nd hand small amp...if not, get an Ibanez Tone Blaster 15 to 25R.

THey're NOT really very good, but it serves enuff as a prac small amp. It'll set u back between 100 to 200. Depending on ur negotiating skills...(wink wink, if u noe what I mean...from u all noe where)

If u're not overly tone-sensitive, then any cheap amp will pretty much, tho I agree with the rest...get a holiday job/save up, get a good one.

I have 2 practice amps at home...Ibanez n peavy....Old and dirt cheap...and poor quality....(altho when played in sync dirty n clean config..the sound is...interesting)..I'm saving for a Peavy too! $600-800!! ouch!

I have a Marshall MG30DFX that i might want to let go. I bought for $380 a year ago. If you are interested, PM me with an offer.

They are the entry lvl amps....good for practicing but not that great tone wise I've got the Peavey 158 1st generation but I've heard that the newer ones are actually quite decent...have not kept up with the prices of amps lately but I did buy one bout 3 mths back, so for about 200SGD, you're defintely in teh SS range and maybe some lower end hyprid ones.

Marshall MG, maybe AVT <---but I dun think so
Peavey Transtube
Laney HCM

is the Micro Amps of any good? feel like getting it > My friends offering me $40 for the micro amp....mint condition.
