Dean Markley or DR used to manufacture gold-plated electric guitar strings - does anyone know if they (or any other brand) are available in Singapore?

Thanks

i used one of those.. diaddario ones... where the whole guitar packet was like the american flag...

those strings are gold...

it would look pimping on your strat...

i think it'll look smashing on an ebony fretboard - gold on black just screams glam.

I did a lookup on MSN Search for those - those look like Brass strings rather than gold-plated.

The description says they are " Gold-plated plain strings and gold-plated bronze wound strings"

so they are gold in colour, but the top three strings are bronze-wound. :)

Can I have those strings when they are done? I'll even pay shipping. Hehe..

eyy if u tink abt it, mayb gold strings are worth it. gold in a very unreactive metal. so it wont rust. so it will last longer. worth the money if u can use a set for a couple of months.

I'm not a physicist, but would pure gold even cause the pickups to generate a magnetic field, being non-ferrous? Anyone?

not too expensive man.... Feel like trying a set for the fun of it.... damn... or wear it like bling bling you know? Wrapping it around my neck and teeth!

has anyone tried these????

omg they would look real classy...

but then again if they feel and sound bad..... its kinda pointless..

really great for a showcase guitar man! i can imagine those gold strings on a black beauty LP -drool-
