fret markers are on top of the low E.

but how do u play a 11/12string. saw one guitar playing canon on this.. kinda cool. but was wondering man how do u exactly play a 11/12 strings guitar.

i saw the cure's robert smith playing a song on a 12string. sounds really nice.

when i play with a normal 6 string, sounds really off

Hmm.

Songs with 12-strings:

Hotel California
Stairway to Heaven (electric 12-string)
Wish You Were Here (live versions esp)

It's basically playing the same thing you normally would be doing on a standard 6-string guitar. Problems you'd encounter would be the difficulty in which you could sustain holding onto any chord for an extended period of time, expecially barre chords.

And I wonder if there's a 12-string solo out there. Hmm.
