During NYE, at town, recently, A bangla sprayed the ribbon straight to my face, and the police saw it. WOW, the police grab hold of his neck and scolded him upside down! Now, please, this is Singapore. All indecent act in public is really not nice to see. Especially, nationwide events suchas NYE countdowns. We still have our roots.
 
The Xenophobia in this country is quite passive aggressive i must say...

However, I'm quite disgusted by this incident, I'm foreign myself, things like this are a black mark on all of us.

But with the boundary pushing nature of the clubbing scene here, the nonchalant nature of the locals and foreigners alike, such things were bound to happen.

I feel sorry for the lady in question, every woman has a right to her private space and enjoy life without being harassed.

However, the most disturbing thing about this video - noone, including the locals, including the armygoers....lifted a finger to help the lady(who was clearly opposed to what was happening)....so before a finger is pointed at the foreigners saying " oh they come and spoil our country", how about a question mark on the integrity and courage of the residents of the country???(who to me are equally responsible for this incident)

Talk about hypocrisy, if you see someone doing something wrong, do something about it. Don't lovelovelovelovelove about it AFTERWARDS. You are being protected by a mob of people around you anyway... oh wait, I forgot; Singaporeans would just have stood there watching. Or taking photos for Stomp. Retarded.
 
Well, it's obvious she doesnt deserve it, but then again, she should have been smart enough to stick with her friends, cos things like these are bound to happened during clubbing.

IMO, the should be punished, but the only reason why they did it was cos of temptation: She was alone, high and probably grinding with other guys.
All of it could have been prevented if she was smart enough.
Also, it could have been prevented if the people around helped her out, but Singaporean mentality of "not my taiji, help you for what?" coupled along with the highness of the people, caused everyone to choose to ignore what was happening around them and just continue having fun.

hahaha i get your point, at my age (17) i'm dreading the thought of enlisting into the army, but ultimately i do know that those 2 years in camp would be stellar and memorable, as much as i try to deny it.

and yes, it would be a life changing experience, and looking at it, im actually kinda looking forward to it!

i guess you're right, the pink I/C does bring about alotta abbreviations :???:

All indecent acts in public are 'not nice to see' ANYWHERE in the world, my friend, not just Singapore. What are you blabbering on about? This has nothing to do with 'our roots' as Singaporeans. But to humour you, applying your own warped sense of logic, if you can call it logic, I suppose on the flipside, being Singaporean, 'our roots' also entails us not to do anything about a girl being molested. We should instead take photos and complain about it to STOMP after the act is already done?
 
I'm going to get some heat for saying this, but I'll say it anyway. To people who keep saying, What if it's your sister/gf/daughter/mother? I can assure these people that I will not allow my loved ones to dance drunk while half naked(basically just don't go to such places). And if they do, then yes, they bloody deserve it. Call me traditional or conservative, but I don't see how better she expected it to end up. If it was 1 guy, let's say a local Chinese person doing it, will this still be the headlines? That she was molested? Or just a couple doing what everyone else does at beach parties? In fact, where is this mystery victim anyway? And what's with the hatred for bangladeshis(bangla is a word that I find offensive, although i am neither bangladeshi nor indian)? What about the 4 youths who raped that girl just last year in their house?

All i can say is that, you don't want such things to happen to you, don't dress until like that. I personally will never do such an act to a woman, but really, what outcome did she foresee coming out of that? If you don't want to be labelled a slut, don't dress up in a slut's uniform, it's damn confusing to guys. It's like if me, DeathCubeK the student, were to dress up as a police officer and if something bad happens and people expect me to help, and my reply being "Just because I'm dressed this way, does not make me a police officer".
