gigs anyone?

Not neccessary lah. If the aim of the gig is to push original homegrown made music, what's the point of featuring covers the whole set?

Hey thanks for the reply..
THE APPLICATION IS CLOSED.
Ok the audition is confirmed to be held this saturday, 21st, 2-6pm. I will sms the timeslot by tomorrow.
For the audition, you guys will be given 10mins to play your piece, be it originals or covers. It will be good if you guys can come out with your original piece as this gigs is to show off your band's creativity/ talents.
Azlan: The bands need not pay for anything, audition & gigs though we still tickets for the audience.
Btw, I need some help from experienced bands/ gig organiser to help me judge the bands this saturday.It will be good if agingyouth can make it.

Eh, thanks for thinking so highly of us but the best judge is yourself. I'm not sure my taste in music is the same as yours. But as long as they are musically tight, I reckon they should be fine. Anyway, I've to be at the Esplanade for the Spread The Love soundchecks in the afternoon.

i need to ask a dying question.... after the audition...hw do we know if our band will be accepted 4 the gig? do you sms or call or Email?

Hey my band (Homicidal Rage) got some kind of problem for the audition this sat.. My drummer is doing ns reservist this thurs and will be back on sat afternoon earliest 4pm.. can you put my band to a later timeslot instead of 2.10pm? if u really want proof i can ask my drummer to bring his ns reservist letter and show it to you this sat at the audition.. so please, i hope u understand.. thanks!

whoa... this audition is hectic man.... 'a tribute to' timeslot changed twice but its ok...... i'll try to follow everything to make this gig works!

CrispyNoodle, what do you mean by hectic? If you can't co-operate, then don't have to come ok.
It's hectic for me to juggle with 40 bands, email and sms but only 20+ replied and that's the reason why i have to keep on changing until yesterday.
As for those who can't make it, so sorry.
