gibson or epiphone?

ah.. gibsons... vs ibanez? I think both guitar rocks. I use an ibanez jem777 for more than 10 years, definitely fits some shredding good licks... also just accquired a gibson voodoo les paul.. fitted .10 strings.. ouch ohh yeah!

ahh... someone who appreciates the voodoo. ash gibsons IMO has better clarity in the overall tone.

Back in history of the development of guitar, those two (epi and gibson) are competitors in everywhere when they were still building strange hawaiian and steel electrics guitars (before the modern day design is made). I really don't know when epi start to adopt gibsons es and other semi hollow lines.

voodoo models have been discont'd in phases between 2003 - 2005... womderful tone but quirky cosmetics.
