... AND a PRS 5-way rotary in the upper bout...

Ben, OT, but is there a 5-way rotary sized similar to PRS's 5-way, that replicates the strat's switching? Like neck-single, neck + middle, middle, bridge + middle, bridge? And maybe even push pull for coil split/tap.

Oh!

Its at long house there?

Or is the the chicken rice store beside UOB? The sign board with the crab, but says chicken rice.

there are branches at keypoint centre (beach rd) lavender food square (lavender), & lorong sarina (telok kurau)

but i'm based at the main branch at ronghouse. i mean longhouse :D

L3stat, i know that stew mac makes a 5 way blade switch that emulates the switching of a PRS rotary. but i don't know of any 5 way rotary that emulates a strat 5 way (on paper at least) :(

erm ... a schroeder is a custom instrument?
so technically people who know what they want ... or as you say... people who have attained that " Level " Already know what neck shape they are getting, what frets , what woods , what neck radius, nut material, wiring options .... all the way down to the design of the inlays.

A schroeder is not bought off the shelves.
Neither does one call schroeder and ask him " Hey jason~ i want a schroeder , give me one with EVERYTHING on it... i trust you.. u decide everything ok? "

you would probably end up with a 5 necked carbon-fibre hollowbody 35 string harp guitar
and a bill for US$20,000.

I've based my choices on my previous experiences with guitars ive tried, heard live and/or had the pleasure of owning...

I personally think evaluating a guitar is best done by physically playing the instrument OR at the very least being in the actual presence of someone playing the instrument.

Fenderben said so himself, he made his choice on the Schroeder more on friendship and trust in Jason than on anything else. There is nothing else to debate on.

fenderben speced his guitar and trusted Jason to follow his vision. He did not just throw Jason with a 'build me a guitar with everything' kinda message.

If you read what fenderben has listed down as specs on his schroeder, you'd at least think he cared about what was going into his guitar.

And from pics and conversations on jason's forum. you could see the creative process in building this particular guitar was a unity of 2 individual's experience and taste.

Fenderben already said he went with Schroeder out of friendship and trust primarily in his purchase of the guitar. He did not cite built quality, technical knowhow or other various sorts of jargon in order to have his guitar built, which is what I'm referring to. I've already said there's nothing wrong with going with a luthier you trust.

For he is guru of the highest level, PHD even!
Now we shall bow to his honour.

Thank you ;)

Yes I'm destined for great things, are you oh humble servant?

Btw, in what way have you contributed to this thread besides boot licking other forum mates?

Are you going to spend another 11 months thinking about how to reply to my other thread on Gibson management policies? :D

I mentioned I would stop the argument there as it was not leading to anything constructive.
Besides, I didn't know it was a crime to look back a old treads.

Oh it is when you question why people are making a big fuss out of it when you brought the thread back to life. Kinda shooting yourself in the foot isn't it? At the very least you stopped the fuss yourself, I give you that.
