gibson flying v

isnt that a setneck guitar, whereby the neck is glued on to the guitar body? i dont think they have replacement necks for that.

there might be similar bolt-on style necks from places like warmoth tho.
 
yeah the neck is part of the body...gibson guitars are usually like that...so no replacement necks...
 
I saw some budget Korean flying Vs & explorers at Dan Music in Peninsula - why not just get one & sell of yr flying V body...those Vs have glue on necks & gold hardwear with jumbo frets if I'm not mistaken and are quite cheap at $350 or something like dat
 
Set necks can be replaced, its just more work and more expensive. But if you want a Gibson Flying V neck you need to get it from a Gibson Flying V. If you are looking to repair a Gibson Flying V you can ask Gibson in the US if they can put a new neck for you.
