Haha... now with that said... comes the logic: why do we come to this forum in the first place? Isn't it not for the love of music (in our case guitar)?

So with this love can we not write off the amnity we face and be in good relationship with the bros here... ???

Haha... I know how unjustified it may feel but the main point is to give others the due respect man...

Surely gain10 have seen this by now and I think he did not comment cos he knows that what he charges are reasonable by his standard (let's give him the benefit of doubt)... and with that he ain't gonna try justifying that price tag... in fact as an adult he respect you and keep quite... so pls do respect him and others in the forum...

With that case close and we still love u stillwater... we as in everyone in the forum, right?

By the way I not affliated to gain10 in anyway... in fact don't even know his face much more his name...

oh price per ticket is $10 ( same as the door price)

but think about it ... if i m not mistaken the total number of tickets printed isnt very much like maybe 500 or so or sumthing like tt ?

that means u have a > 1 in 500 chance of winning sometihng :D go there and try your luck.

great music , great food , great giveaways .. all for 10 bucks man !

a much better investment rather than buying today's 5 million toto, lol , better odds of winning something

NewGuy, it doesn't matter who doesn't love me... my comments may be crude, but as a consumer n being in the (soft) community, i have every reason to voice out my frustration, warn other fellow softies, as well as slamming the retailer, whenever needed.

As for keeping the bad n only post polite comments... sorry, i dun practice tt in forums. neither do i i do courtesy campaigns.

Dun like wat u see?...well... move on then.

stillwater ? please compose yourself and get a grip on yourself. place yourself in gain10's shoes . what would he do if there was someone like you ? what would he feel ?

come on . think man think. if he wanted to make money , he wouldnt open a music business in singapore. its really tough to survive here with all the major brands and dealerships snapped up, the local market isnt plain big enough if you plan to rake in big bucks. big companies like swee lee and city music primarily survive on dealerships and a large market share due to brand recognisability.

defintely as a supplier and as a retailer , he would have better pricing information than you , as a mere consumer , are entitled to know. if that stands, who are you to critque him on his prices ? who are you to slam him that his prices are unfair ? how do you know its not others undercutting the market ?

please be fair and understand that for all you know , gain10 maybe run by a guy , running his barely profitable business out of his HDB flat , struggling to feed his recently retrenched wife and three kids. The reason they go into business is to make profit and as a source of income , but in doing so , they take huge risks. he might be selling it a marignal profit for all you know and you slam his business and tell him to KYA ?

market forces determine that uncompetitive business , who cannot price themselves competitevly , are wiped out . its a brutal darwinian world out there , all this due to you the CONSUMER , having the power to decide to buy or not to buy.

so if you dont like it ? just dont buy it ? simple as that. must you make a mountain out of a molehill ? telling people to KYA and hurting his business?

you talk about you having the right to spread word in soft and slamming people. people make comparisons all the time , theres absolutely nothing wrong with tt .

however , when you slam a person without knowing the full circumstances , accusing and maligning individuals whom you barely know about , spouting absolute rubbish without knowing underlying information on how the industry works.

THAT is IRRESPONSIBILITY. its no different from a immature young kid talking trash. You mislead people , you wrongfully accused people and you paint such a bad picture of a person and whose company you barely know. after all , isnt that a personal attack ? thats what you said.. y

theres a difference between objectivity and vicious attacks on a person. don't like what you see ? behave yourself then , no one asked you to passed uncalled for , incorrect and thoroughly inaccurate judgements on people whom you dont even know

1 in 500 , shouldnt be that bad... got about 10 gifts .. so that means your chance of getting 1 free gift ( figured the cheapest should be about 120) is 1 in 50 :D not too bad odds, if you got 10 tickets , yould have a 1 in 5 chance of winning :D

whatever you'd like to call it, my point is: stop it, stop it now. it's making this forum look like a platform for justified animosity. also, there's too much legal entailment should it go on- a general reminder.

everyone- enough about unjustified prices et al. let's move on & make the GEAR NEWS thread a useful reference. 8)
