greetings everyone! lately there's a buzz on guitars with solitary pickups, players need to know if these are indeed restrictive in terms of tone- what a single pickup guitar can achieve would be lesser than their multi-pickups counterpart, yes?
not quite. it's a metter of needs- if you don't put those other pickups to use, why have them? this thread is therefore dedicated to guitars with only a single pickup in them, do share what you own & spare some time to underscore the benefits/ shortcomings of your beloved instruments, picture provision is much appreciated. em... this would exclude acoustics, of course.
what you see here is my Ibanez RGR08LTD. i actually bought it for the pickup (Duncan Blackout) rather than the novelty of owning a single pickup instrument.
