Game and film demo 2010

There are some pretty good use of dissonance there which I like! Nice use of different articulations, although some switching between articulations may be a little abrupt (but that may be your intended effect...).

For the dental visit, I feel it's a little too...drastic and melodramatic. Didn't felt like a dental appointment - felt more like something terribly sinister. I would entitle it something else. The anvil hits are good (which may feel like tools hitting the teeth). But I would the piece much softer, add more dissonance using different articulations to give the effect of the most used dental tool - the drill. Occasional stabs will do (for sudden "pain"), but not loud throughout. That's my interpretation anyway.

One suggestion for writing string parts - don't forget your harmony and counterpoint. Even when using dissonance. Apply more theory if you can.
