gargamelesp,i cant seem to find ur les paul in the gibby site..the closest i found was http://www.gibson.com/Products/Gibs...ar of the Week/LP Classic Custom Silverburst/..
this one has the custom headstock inlays instead of the trapezium one..n the fretboard inlays are trapezoid..

the silverburst is a new limited edition finish, and im not sure they have it up on the site
i was actually looking for a standard and had a budget for one. but when i saw 3 of them hanging on the wall in the store, the standard didnt seem so appealing anymore
i tried about 4 standards and even a supreme, hoping id be happy with them and save some money, then i figured its not much point spending so much and not be contended anyway, so i pulled the trigger

the silverburst SG is cool, im sure gibson will reissue that someday as a CS version.
since their Guitar of the Week model sold out very fast.
was only USD1400, some ppl who bought them have jacked up the price some to USD1800.

ah.. i was initially eyeing that.. didnt see myself getting something from the custom shop, but alas, the classic wasnt in stock, and the rest is history!

My latest purchase.
A Gibson 05 les paul standard i bought from kim of eastside guitars.
Been playing and trying les pauls for the past 8 years and never bonded or liked any. It was either not worth it, the neck was shit, the frets were not fitted well or the sound was just too harsh.
Bonded with this one immediatly and went down to try it twice before doing my purchase. Kim was such a nice guy he let me try it both times for over an hour through his pedalboard and let me a/b it with his two other les pauls. Class A service.
