Thanks CK! It started out with looking for a guitar with this particular colour tone combi. Then it happ that I was enthralled by the Yuriy's tone. It's like edgie and my heritage LP, he had a few sleepness nights over it. heehee.

U mean edgie got ur heritage LP? cool

Yah understand, I also sleepless when I got my LP classic last time

hehe, not yet. he's waiting for me to decide whether I should let it go. He just tried it out for fun, and he felt that he needed to get it. So if I do decide to let it go, he'll prob have first priority. =)

omg omg omg omg its finally here...

that looks better then all the strats ive owned combined... maybe not the jap angel one la.. that one was P.I.M.P .. regardless... its frigging beautiful...

Just looking at the pictures, its making me gas for one very badly.. i miss my guitars so badly kenneth.. looking at your new strat makes it helluva worse... thanks bro..

Damn cool purchase Kenneth. What's the damage?? I could only bear to pay as much as a suhr/tyler warrants.....the Fender custom shop stuff are only if i'm willing to part with 1 of my testicles/kidneys then can afford

finally.a family photo :D

hey ed, thanks.

the damage is what you can find it for online....=(, pm you la.

I think the custom shop (non-Masterbuilt) strats are priced similarly to the suhrs, groshes and tylers...no?

My honest take is that Fender custom shop strats and, yes, even the masterbuilts are a little overpriced. And I'm talking abt prices outside of Singapore. =)

But when you find one that suits you, sound, feel, and aesthetics wise...there's little regret in paying the premium for one, esp a Masterbuilt, imo.

I've read of inconsistencies in CS strats, but the Masterbuilts are generally well-received and consistently good performers, due to the fact that 1 luthier single handedly builds the guit from beginning to end. Even the pups are wound in a way to produce the best tone and balance for the combi of woods. I dig that detail. Think Tylers are also built this way today. Suhrs, I heard, have moved on to mass production. Not sure if this is fact or fiction.

Dey, that's why i referred to yours ma. Masterbuilt!

I have an incoming strat, probably by may....will reveal by then :)

fibre, my job don't pay well dude.

It's just that...that...I don't have a wife, a house, or a car....yet. :)

so I'm kinda enjoying first.

ramone, I dun dare leh. I might do that to a MIJ or maybe even an MIA strat la. I am trying to get mojo thru my fingers, though it's tough! 7.25" radius not making it easier either hehe.

that's true. i got no car either but the house and the bills is enough for now. haha. wife low maintenance. thank God for that! keke.

ur strat is indeed very very nice.
