The compressor section of the Route66 is actually a variation of the classic Dynacomp. The most common complaint among new users of this comp is that it's too dark or hissy. This is actually a sign for you to back off on the sustain knob setting. Try it as most users find that this will minimize the hisssss. :D

Hmmm now that's interesting. What's the patching order of your pedals and the guitar, pup and amp then maybe we can spot where the problem. Otherwise you have a strange symptom.

I think that's wat they use on certain Jim Dunlop Wahs too ya.

So do u guys think it wud be over the top to have tyre grips on the volume and tone knobs on the geetar?

haha, too late, i already got them on mi guitar, as soon as i get it back frm gc
