to all you guys using the multiple single effect units, what power supply do you guys use?

I use a Boss PSA120 adaptor, suits my needs for now, until i get too many pedals to power up - it's got smaller capacity compared to the OneSpot and those dedicated power supply 'bricks'

Some advice: don't bother getting those cheap multi-voltage adaptors from the DIY store, they will work, BUT they hum big-time! I tried that before i got my hands on the Boss adaptor.

ok, my contribution for the pics library 2006.

Got the multi-efx Digitech GNX3000 and 535Q wah from Sweel Lee sales, just love every thing abt it. The tone, the built in drum machine...and not forgeting the price i paid :D during the sale.

My practise setup.

I told myself to stop buying since i just started not too long on the electric but then.... what should i get in 2006? It's a new year right?

hiya Subversion,
Do you think Ibanez H.R Giger model will reach our shore this year??

bro- you souldn't stop buying when you know your next buy adds more to your playing than just heartache & a guilt 8) especially when there's a SALE happening. he he...

with regards to the HR Giger Ibanez RG/ IC: no news yet. i've advocated these models to the relevant authorities together with others, namely:

*SAS32
*Ibanez Destroyer
*selected jap-exclusive models

before you get too excited about them, know that they are Korean by origin but include a hardcase in the package. the RG version is actually a custom painted RGT42, nothing extra in terms of features/ electronics. FYI, Giger agreed to do another, but this time it involves the BTB bass 8)

this is partly the reason why there are SALE events aplenty- to clear off yesteryears' surpluses.

Any stores still havning sales??

Will post my pics later... Lousy w/ photo taking 8)

From www.namm.com

Q: What does the acronym NAMM stand for?
A: Over its more-than-one-hundred-year history, the association has evolved from a national entity representing the interests of music products retailers to an international association including both commercial and retail members. The International Music Products Association’s name, NAMM, comes from the acronym “National Association of Music Merchants,” but the long form of the name is no longer used. Today, we simply say that NAMM stands for the interests of the global music products industry.

eh tany tomorrow start school?

Bro sub, you are right about buying.. i have always let passion rule over mind when it come to sale n guitar.

I am not too bother about the origin of the guitar as long it well made and sound decent. The giger model seems so....Alien..err..eye candy to me.

Hi riff

Is dat a Fender Pro Junior? Any sound clips to go along?
I'll post my photos soon...did'nt buy much, just two most recent purchases... an old Fender Bronco (Tweed solid state) from Guitar Connection & AMT Fataltube.( re-bought it frm the same guy whom I sold a yr ago)

Where did u buy that Jem...it's on my wishlist too.

My Ibanez S-Classic..I haven't changed anything on the guitar, its all stock and I just like the way it sounds, has now seen life on numerous recordings for some other bands..hehe..I call her the whore of the studio..though she now needs some serious refretting and a good once over, changing all the screws etc etc...The guitar has a personal backstory...

14.gif

And some of the thingamajigs I plug them into...I actually have more...but this is the only pic I have for now....
I use them a lot in my work and for personal use, for my own music etc...all depends on what I am doing...
Yes, I love Sansamp gear...the Tubescreamer rocks...the Voodoo Lab Tremolo has a surprising gain structure to it...the Morley Contour Wah rocks too...depends on what you're playing....

My Marshall...which has its uses, depending on the genre of music...

My Peavy Triple XXX....my one true love...:) I just love the gain on this...its monstorous...8)

Hey JoshuaG, how's that Voodoo Labs tremolo? What do you mean when you say it's got a "surprising gain structure"?

I love the tone the pedal has, for its purpose, its superb, it sounds rich to me..as compared to say the tremolo effects on my line 6 pro or those that i have tried on say a multi efx board or a boss equivalent, it doesn't get too extreme too on maxing out the knobs for example...as for the gain structure thingy, i find that it actually boosts my original clean signal by quite a bit and there is a slight tonal difference in my opinion...

Hi Jay_Clones,

Yes, that's a Pro Junior. I have yet to try out any recording and my playing might not do justice to for the amp... hahaha.

Anyway, the pro junior is small but very sweet and warm sounding full tube amp. It can sound very nice with a distortion pedals as well. The only downside are they can have this inherent hum if wrong tubes are used. check out this thread if u are keen to get one -> http://soft.com.sg/2006/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=11140&start=30

As for the JEM, I got it 2nd hand from a nice gentlemen and it's in pristine condition, 2005 model.

I have been looking for the JEM7vwh for quite awhile, don't think it's available at this moment here in Singapore. I did check with Swee Lee and they say you can pre-order but take few months to come in.

Otherwise, ishibashi website might be useful. The JEM7v are really nice guitar to play with and they are not awfully expensive for a signature guitar, i am glad that it's in your wishlist too!

holy smokes thats a huge range of effects there! i think my friend used the s series when he went for recordings at your studio.. and i love the look of the triple xxx.. woman lol
