Gain Heads!!

can anyone tell me more about the Distortus Maximus?

and also , how different are the GT2 and triac?

markedymark: Basically the "Switchblade" mod a different mod for each of his clients' needs. He has to access your type of tone, then he can recomend you.

my setup. ansamp gt2 boosted with protone mach 2 booster. gain heaven.

gets me all the way from deep purple to cradle of filth or CoB.

brandnewrock, you damn right im enjoying it. alot of options on the gt2
thanks to joshuak, im now enjoying shaping my distortions with the EQ20. (thanks a million dude), it gets insane with the eq , my bored just got 'heavier'
like being a self confessed gain head not enough. ha ha

well i guess its really up to ur preference, best to try, some pple might not like how it stacks, but u might. but hell thats an insane amt of gain to have. i like!

z.vex fuzz factory -> z.vex super duper 2-in-1 -> lovepedal eternity = <3

the eternity produces incredibly clear and articulate drive with plenty of attitude. i like to set the gain on the eternity to around 9 o'clock, set a very slight treble boost, and turn up the level to blast my amp/other pedals (i leave it on all the time) while boosting the gain with both sides of a z.vex super duper 2-in-1. super awesome "jeng" with dynamics :)

MI-Audio ChrunchBox ~!

Super FAT distortion that can still cut thru ...~
I've never heard a dist as powerful and thick as the ChrunchBox ~
:)

Oh yeah ...
forgot to add it works as a great booster at lowgain settings~!
imoh better then an SD1 or tubescreamer ~

MI Audio's Crunch Box i've tried- it's not an intense-type distortion, yes it has more drive than Tubescreamer so 'better' is valid in perspective.
