well, not my fav, but i do like the tones of my current Boss pedals. BD2, MT2, DS1, all modded. I usually stack them like guitar-bd2-mt2-ds1-etc-amp. Amp dirt ch always on, but set it abit of dirt in it.
Usually bd2-ds1 for leads
bd2-mt2 for rhythms
all 3 for sustain & feedback at end of a song
bd2 alone for some quieter moments with dynamics.
Dont really like an OD or Tubescreamer at the moment, but who knows in the future.

i love my randolf-ed bd2, toadworks death rattle to go slightly crazy.
as for distortions, im using the subecy stupidbox, but i wont say thats the ultimate yet. still looking though.

BD-2 and TS are not the same. agreed! I never said that lor 
In fact BD-2 is boss's own version of an overdrive, totally different from the TS circuit.
But, it is still an OD pedal, with extraordinarily high gain (called fizz when stock).

Blackstone --> Screwdriver = yeahhhh... enough gain for me.
Or
Blackstone --> Flying Tomato = sustained choked smooth leads.
On their own, there's enough gain flavours for (almost) all my normal playing needs.
Outside of these...
The MXR Blue Box, with octave dialed out, does a ridiculously heavy synth-distortion thing...
And using the DreamTone Octave 8 fuzz, intensity (like distortion) @ 3 oclock, yields some un-earthly tearing gain tones with weird ring modulation... cool, has its uses.
If looking for high gain standalone, the Krank Distortus Maximus catches my eye... its quiet. Quiet. With a butt load of loud, booming distortion with no fizz (unless u dial it in) and crazy ass low end.

I heart my ProCo Rat 2!
Love it because it sounds great at any amount of gain! From transparent OD to dirty "ratty" distortion. Hehe.
My only complain would be the tone control. Sound gets harsh and piercing pretty fast.
Anyone can help on this? moddddddddersss.

Hehe, yeah. But it's kinda difficult when i switch between a good clean to distortion, as settings tend to be higher for my cleans.
Goose; I've yet to send my guitar to you for electronics replacement!! So far, so far..
Oh, I forgot to mention, the words on the RAT glows in the dark!

od wise i loooove my trex moller but the drivemaster really rocks to. n the muffin.and ocd(decisionsdecisions)
but distortion wise. as out of place as this is gonna be to all the distortions mentioned. i lve my AMT rammstein for my heavy . the subdecay blackstar is an amazing sound to . but the protone monster fuzz churns the bass of my insides. eats u up kinda sound and massive with the ocd
