Thought I'd talk a bit about a great source of spare parts: http://www.fretsonthenet.com/

I ordered some custom plastic pickup rings (EMG808-to-passives-conversion) for my 8 string and first of all, Dave has been a truly excellent person to deal with - he responded fast, he offered opinions, he came up with really good solutions. Shipping was cheap - no USD20 default fee here. The quality of the parts was top notch - solid plastic stuff, very sturdy and well made. I think I got superb quality for the money I paid.

Ordered these brass parts from Dave. Good stuff! The pickup rings is a literally freaking chunk of solid brass. Won't break/bend/warp and will do some serious damage if you hurl it at someone's face.

Waiting time is 4 weeks as it is made to order. I opted for the more expensive Express USPS delivery (30 USD) and it took about 2 days for the package to reach here.

Highly recommended.
