just wondering. is there anything to remedy the 'dry looking' or possibly dry fret board other than changing the wholeee fretboard?

get some olive oil and apply with cotton buds. let it sit and let the board absorb it in. adding a little lemon juice to the mixture can help, like 5 parts olive oil 1 part lemon.

wipe it off after you let it sit overnight to give it time to seep in.

Products with lemon or any other similar ingredients especially, are to be applied less frequently. Not that it doesn't help but the acidity would weaken the fretboard material after a while.

i think we still havent know whether is it rosewood, maple or any other material for the fretboard, might be a bit risky to just mentioned lemon oil..

imho

The BEMIS Wood Conditioner seems interesting.

Has anyone heard of bore oils such as "Fret Doctor"? I've read rave reviews along with before & after application pictures on TPG and the effect of it looks amazing.

my fretboard is of rosewood.
reading from sub's blog. i should use lemon oil as rosewood is porous or i could use the Dunlop 02 which also conditions my fretboard. but will the Dunlop 02 weaken the fretboard?
and are there an other fluids which can help to condition the fretboard?
thanks guysss!
