Noise Singapore's The Apprenticeship Program applications now end on 4 Oct, so get your applications in soon.

This is probably the only program in Singapore where industry professionals will guide you and show you the ropes of the industry for free over 7 weeks, helping you to produce mucis that will be showcased in the Noise Singapore concerts next year, and even at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

You can apply at www.noisesingapore.com, where you can also see a list of the mentors available. Mentors this year are Kevin Mathews, DJ Aldrin, Patrick Chng and Don Richmond, so don't miss this chance.

Are there any sort of prerequisites for the apprenticeship? Is a certain standard required, or is there an interview or something? Haha.

hey man, you need to have some sample tracks uploaded on to Noise to be considered from the program. then there'll be an interview with the music mentors before being selected.

I guess the only real prerequisite is that you have to be serious about pursuing a musical career haha...
