forgotten fingerpicking

no i dont mean for noses :lol:

how do i make fingerpicking a habit? i think i have been into alternative picking too much that i think ive forgotten my basic acoustic skill of fingerpicking..

anyway, im playing the song more than words by extreme. how do i use my index, ring and pinky fingers besides my thumb and my middle??
