For Aerodyne Telecaster Owners

Hello fellow softies, this post for those who have the aerodyne tele and those who have actually tried it, i would really like to know what sound u get from this guitar clean and dirty. i am really considering getting one, but couldnt really find the time to go test it myself, i play mostly alternative rock. Muse, snowpatrol, coldplay, radiohead, arctic monkeys are some of the bands i listen to and cover.

BTW, why don't you get a traditional tele?
are you looking for certain sound/look?

i played both the strat & tele versions but only managed to review the former.

build quality is excellent but don't look forward to acquiring vintage vibes from these models. yes they can replicate the classic fender tones but they were conceived to be more contemporary.

as for the Aero Tele, if this is your maiden exposure to a P-90 pickup, do try it out clean AND driven, to hear if it has something for you. all in all, the Aero models (both guitars & basses) are superb Fenders to own 8)

62jaguar: Yeah it's partly to the looks, as far as i know the aero teles have thinner bodies thus lighter, and its got those curves on the sides so it looks really appealing. Also i find the aero tele interesting because of the pups, but of course still have yet to try and hear the sound for myself. But lets say i decide to get the traditional teles(Mijs)...any recommendations? and if any pup changing that has to be done, any recommendations?

i'd say you check the Highway1 Tele before looking at the japs...
