floyd rose saddes are broken!

hi, 2 of my guitar's floyd rose saddles wont open. can anyone tell me how to fix it? or where to get replacements? i think theres bits of string stuck in them. its an edge 3 btw

hmm. edge 3. troublesome. try this. Get WD4D, spray at the stuck area and try to wrench it lose... if not.. means rust until jia lat. to get replacement saddles for ibanez, u need to order it from ibanez. U go to Ibanez.com, go to the parts page, note the item model number, than go to swee lee, and tell em u want that particular thing.

btw, when u say stuck.. u mean the string block is stuck right? if your tremolo is stuck... it is a bigger problem. u prolly can get the edge III tremolo someone else was selling in the parts section...

yup its the string block thats stuck. the tremolo is fine

yea, i had the same problem on my ILT1 bridge. just replacing the saddles are fine. or if u are adventurous enuff, WD40 + prying with a screw driver...

i dont think you can see the problem from pics, it looks perfectly fine. its just that 2 of the string holder blocks wont move when i loosen the string stopper screw.

must be generous with the WD40. spam like nothing! after that use a very small flat tip screw driving to pry it out. if cannot work, send to a guitar tech 1st? I still think that is a better option as ordering straight from Ibanez might not be cheaper option.
