Floating trem move during string bending

Yes, its perfectly normal. A blessing and a curse.

More springs? Then you have to up your string tension or the trem will not be at perfect float.

If want it to stop moving, you'll have to set it up so it's really tight on the body of the guitar, and can only dive but not pull up.

One way to reduce the problem is to get a hipshot tremsetter. I had to hunt like mad for one a few years back but I did see 2 sets at guitar connection recently.

Tremsetters will change the feel of the trem though. And you won't be able to do flutters anymore. Tradeoffs.

Better just point this out in case... ;)

Tremsetters DO NOT get rid of tunning instability neither do they turn your floating trem into a hardtail.

It merely eases the issue. Which may or may not be on, depending on the individual.

And yes, there is a trade off.

does the tremsetter works like a damping device in an automotive suspension?

I have no idea how a damping device works...

But the tremsetter basically is spring loaded, it hooks on to the trem and its adjusted to 1 position. So when the trem moves either way, there is additional spring tension. Helps stabilize a trem when doing double stop bends, or if a string breaks, but does not rid the issues.

Try a Tremol-No, Below is a picture and link to purchase one from my store...
