i dunno whether this topic may be interesting enuff to you guys but what the hell i'll juz share it with you guys...i got this over in wikipedia about First World Problem which says:

"An internet meme developed around the term "first world problem" in contrast to "third world problem". The term parodies comparatively trivial problems of first world residents, such as "my iPod is broken", to that of those of the third world, such as "my child is starving"

if its interesting enuff, comments please...cheers!

the illustration is a fallacious, convenient exaggeration, despite the author's claim that the problems are "comparatively trivial", when they aren't of the same magnitude for fair comparison

besides, "my iPod is broken" in the first world translates into "my buffalo will not plough the fields" in the third world

and "my child is starving" in the third world translates to "ah long hanged a pig's head on my door" in the developed world
