PLUG IN AND PLAY INTO MY AWESOME AMP!!!:evil::evil:

Hahaha... Or something like that...

As per the title...

Just curious as to what you would do, like modifications to neck... string action... add more springs to trem... or the like... ^.^

Destring and check the electronics wiring, tidy up if needed. Once done, give the whole thing a good cleaning with rubbing alcohol. You never know where the previous owner's hands went lol

1. action setting (a must)
2. replace strings to my preferred brand name

other mods/ replacements would mean i have other preferences for the guitar along the way, nothing of immediate concern.

Never check tuning meh????? Out of tune still play until so shiock!!! hahaha
Hahaha... normally will only find the tuning out after I play ma...

Wah... wiring... serious not... I till today haven't pop the hood on my guitar to see wiring...

You should see how some solder joints are just begging for a breakage the way they are done. I like my soldering and wiring work neat and tidy :D

  1. Check wiring and re-solder if necessary
  2. Change to my preferred gauge of strings
  3. Give it a good setup
  4. Wax polish
  5. Take some pics

and.....

ROCK ON! \m/

first thing i do... ding it.

first few dings damn heart pain one.. subsequent dings... well, dont care already hahaha

A simple set up.

THEN

Plug into amp and play... in clean mode... get to know the guitar well first, before "colouring" the tones.

Hahahaha... I see ding, no matter if the guitar is worn, extra ding = heart pain... If I dunno = good, no pain... hahaha...

Ahhh... that's a good habit that I can pick up... But I think I spend so much time doing the set up... I'll end up not coloring the tone until much later... >.<

If the guitar works, just bring for set up and change to a set of strings you like.

Then play....pickup changes and what not you can decide after you realize what you like or don't like about what you have now.
