Hmm.

OS-2. Was really happy the way it switched from overdrive to Distortion, and in-between. Sadly it cut alot of bass from my signal. Sold it off and never looked back since.

i got the DS-2, TS7 and DE7 on the same day. decided not to keep all after a while. lol. got a fulltone OCD and barber LTD next. just sticking to TWO pedals for now. dont need other fancy stuffs.

I'm keeping my amp for sentimental value. lol... anyway although i havent buy the pedal yet, i'm getting a MT-2... I'm sort of a purist so i don't think i'll be getting any other pedals.

Planning to get dunlop DB-01 wah too... but after that, that's it. (I hope) lol.

My first pedal was a rather battered Line 6 Tonecore Uber Metal. I still use it for distortion stuff, and reserve my floor pod MFX (my 2nd "pedal") for overdrive stuff.

I still use my Uber Metal because it really gives me the tone I need for alternative metal. I'm a barebones kinda guitarist :mrgreen: About sentimental value... Yeah, I wouldn't ever sell this pedal. Ever.

i liked it cos i was into uber high gain nonsesne at that time.....but as i jammed with other musicians....i found out that thing has no clarity or dynamics whatsover...so off it went! i like the dual gain stage idea tho....it was like stacking pedals with only one pedal...lol

i get all the fx i want from my Fender G-DEC Amp. haha. Good enuff for me so far coz im not in a band or gigging.

But i feel like buying one..dunno why. A Wah for starters maybe? Im into Thrash/Death Metal and also like Vai, Satriani, Gilbert, MAlmsteen etc.

How many of you guys actually do research before buying the pedal? I didn't buy my first pedal. Hahaha. It was a gift from a friend. Although my second pedal which i paid was a Crunchbox

so far bought ds-1, monte mod instruction, mt-2, podxtl, crunchbox, gcb-95, dd-3, n some other stuffs without proper research. the crunchbox is the most satisfied purchase.

My very first pedal was an Ibanez Sonic Distortion that I bought way back in the 80's.
Best distortion pedal I ever owned.
Lent it to a friend, he lost it then gave me a Supra Distortion (DOD I think) as a replacement.
What a piece of junk that one was.

Mine was a JH-1 Wah. Those were the days when I still relied solely on amp distortion. Haha.
