Firewire to usb adapter?

Hey guys its me again, back with another tech question.

My new laptop doesn't have a firewire port, which came as a surprise to me, and I intend to purchase a firewire based hardware.

Is there such an adapter that links firewire to USB2 or the other way around? If so where can I get it?

either get a pcimia firewire adaptor card or expresscard firewire adaptor, depending on which slot your laptop have. Pictures below.
