Firefox or Internet Explorer?

I am not how exactly to get to the advanced settings for firefox on a mac... But it should be possible.

I've been a Firefox user since last year. Downloading big files is much faster, and in fact everything is pretty much faster. I recently upgraded to Firefox 3, and although it seems nicer, I kinda prefer Firefox 2.
Reason is that my hotmail does not open properly. It opens in the classic version, saying that "an error occurred during log-in). Other than that, no real major gripes with Firefox 3. Just quite buggy as of now. Nothing major...
I use IE only for my school stuff, because RPnet works best on IE, especially my RP webmail. And as for the virus issue, I haven't got any significant viruses lately, even though occasionally my computer behaves like its virus-infected.
